Wal-Mart To Give Away 10 Blu-Ray Movies With PS3?

Apparently someone who works for Wal-Mart has been blabbing a little about how Wal-Mart stores are planning run a very cool 80GB PS3 deal on November 24th. If you head to your local Wal-Mart on that day from 8.00AM, you can purchase your 80GB PS3 and get 10 Blu-Ray movies free - yes, free.
Now, most of us who tried to make the switch to Blu-Ray have probably been fairly unhappy with the release schedule and the slow uptake of the cool format, but still ten free movies is a good deal regardless. You can supposedly choose any ten titles you like from the $30 and under range in store. If you add this onto the mail in deal they have where you can get five free movies with every purchase, this means a grand total of 15 free movies. Not bad actually and they're even going to get extra stock of movies in just for this promotion.
If you're thinking of buying a PS3, this is the time to do it. Head to Wal-Mart on 24th November and get yourself a ton of freebies. Of course, since this hasn't been officially confirmed as yet, you might want to check with your local store before heading down there.

Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
I worked for that wretched company for almost 9 years. I seriously doubt they are willing to take that kind of a loss on a promotion. Unless each store only has an obscenely limited number of PS3's for this promotion. We're talking single digits here. Think about it, the average Blu Ray disc is like $25, that would mean the store is taking an almost $250 loss on the deal. I'm not saying it's impossible, it's just unlikely. Wal-mart is known for have a special that starts the morning after thanksgiving, and only lasts for a few hours. If such a scheme exists, it would be for that sale, and I would bet the availible PS3 units would be less than 10.
