Turn Your Wiimote Into A Lightsaber!

Just in time for the release of Lego Star Wars... okay, a little too late, but still in time to enjoy, there's a Wii Lightsaber Light Sword accessory available to turn every Wii player into a full-fledged Jedi Master! Unfortunately, it's only available in the UK right now. You might be able to find a way to import it, but it costs 14 quid, which amounts to about $30 by my guestimation. That's a little much for an accessory that's only going to be good for one game (part of one game, really), but still. It's a lightsaber! And it really lights up!
There's 22 LED's built in that are powered by 3 AA batteries. Slip your Wiimote in and power up your lightsaber light sword and swing away! Then you, too, can feel like the dorkiest Jedi in the world. (At least you'll still be marginally cooler than that Star Wars kid from that embarassing video that made the rounds back in the day)
Still, is it just me, or does it look a little stumpy in this picture? Maybe it's not fully... extended?

Ha! That is one... interesting accessory. A shame the dollar is tanking against the pound, else I would consider getting it for no other reason than to say cool!
But I don't plan on doing any online shenanigans with it ;)
By the way, why can't I strike through in comments?
I'm more concerned with whether the pointing function can still operate with that crap hanging off the front end.
