Championship Gaming Series World Final on TV

DirecTV, one of the biggest satellite TV providers is broadcasting the Championship Gaming Series (CGS) World Final live between December 6-14.
The competition will be held at the Sony Studios in LA, where over 100 of the world's best professional gamers (don't you just love that job title), will be fighting it out to not only be crowned King or Queen of the first-ever World Champion title, but will also get a share of the $1,000,000 prize. Yes, it now official pays to spend hours gaming. The last team standing will receive the Dew Trophy as well as $500,000 in cash.
If you're a console gamer and are worried it'll all be PC based grudge matches, fear not. There will be a good mix of both console and PC gaming. Counter Strike and FIFA 2007 will be the PC based games and, Dead or Alive 4 and Project Gotham Racing 3 will be the Xbox 360 titles.
DirecTV will be showing all the action as it happens in full HD glory on their original entertainment channel 'The 101'. It starts on December 6th at 10pm ET.

I'm so disappointed about this league because, IMHO, the game selection is a horrible selection of choices. They may be new and popular for their genres but I also see large holes in genres not even tapped that are usable for competition.
