EA Free Games: Not As Bad as it Could Be.
As I'm sure most of you have read by now, Rock Band has an added bonus free game with guitar repairs. The first thing I thought was to simply avoid buying Rock Band until the problem was fixed. This did not actually happen, I bought it the next day. The next thing I told myself was that if my guitar came out busted, than I was going to get stuck with a copy of NHL 2004. Lets face it, when you crank out a new version of a hockey title every year, you're bound to get stuck with some back stock.
Much to my surprise, the list was slightly less than painful. There are at least 3 palatable titles, all of which were released within a reasonable amount of time. Kudos to EA for stepping up to the plate on this one. No one wants a busted guitar, and even fewer want to be be a stock sink.

Anyone else find it interesting that they specifically list no Wii game?
I find it funnier that your bonus game you can ask for with your faulty Rock Band guitar is Rock Band. XD
I'd personally recommend The Simpson's and Skate. I sort of assumed that only older titles would be offered as well. I almost wish my guitar had problems just for the bonus.

The first Decade contains some seminal games and amazing story/FMV.
Thiberium Wars is also fun, and lots of HD Videos to make the story richer. It really is a who's who of sci fi actors in there too!
