Fable 2 Has A Release Date At Last - Sort Of
God of all things gaming Peter Molyneux has finally provided gamers with at least part of the news they want regarding Fable 2. He told Eurogamer recently that Fable 2 will be eventually making it's way to our consoles in "late 2008". The only other clues he would give to the release date were that it would be around "when the leaves have a slight brownish tinge - but are still on the trees". So presumably he's referring to the title being released in the Fall.
This is good and bad news for fans of the original Fable as finally there's a release date pencilled in, but it still seems so long away. With the success of the original Lionhead release, Fable 2 has a lot to live up to, but from the look of the screenshots, news and press over on the official page it looks like this could by far outdo the original.
