High Velocity Bowling, Now With Burly Lesbian!

This month sees the release of High Velocity Bowling on the PS3 via the Playstation Store, and while the game's hold-the-SIXAXIS-on-its-side-like-a-Wiimote motion controls are certainly worth talking about, they're not the biggest story in the game - that sizable honor goes to HVB's first add-on, a big honkin' piece of DLC named Amber. She's large, she's not here to satisfy any straight man's Cinemax-style girl-on-girl action fix, and her semipro softball status makes her the apple of every womyn's eye:
It's time to bowl - High Velocity style! Add Amber Vorhees, a semipro softball player turned bowler, to your High Velocity Bowling™ roster. A San Francisco native, Amber's prowess on the softball mound has translated into her unique bowling style: straight and fast with no fancy spin.
For what it's worth, I think this is awesome. We've seen stylized, cartoony characters like this before - a-la Guitar Hero - and here we've got a gay character (it isn't spelled out, but it's pretty hard to miss) who, while a clearly recognizable archetype from the gay community, is certainly not designed to turn on your average straight man! That's a coup in my book. This ain't Christie's vagina.
Note the rainbow bowling ball. Tongue-in-cheek or no, is this the first appearance of a gay rights symbol or meme in a video game?

I hate rainbows. Whenever I see one, I want to snap it in two over my knee. It's also a hippie thing.
