Mario Kart Wii Release Date
Nintendo have finally given us all the news we've been waiting on - Mario Kart will appear on the Wii in the second quarter of 2008. Not only have they stated an approximate release date, but they've also said it'll ship with a steering wheel, so you can get even more into the game than usual.
The game is rumored to contain new tracks as well as the old favorites we've all grown to love. You'll be able to race against your friends online also as Mario Kart makes use of the WiFi connection on your Wii.
As confirmed at E3 2007, characters such as Wario, Baby Mario and Princess Peach will all feature in the title and there are further characters to be announced in time.
Mario Kart is one of those classic games that anyone can pick up and play, so knowing it will be with us in the first half of next year is a great start to what will no doubt be another great year for the Wii.

The Wii is very difficult to find.I have heard horror stories of people standing in line for a very long time in very cold weather.
