Soul Calibur IV Playable, Mystery Character Unveiled (?) At CES
Namco Bandai has just announced that their upcoming fighting blockbuster Soul Calibur IV will be playable at the Consumer Electronics Show, taking place this January 7-10 in Las Vegas, Nevada. "Great," you say, "I love hearing about other lumpy nerds playing games that I won't actually get to touch for months and months." But wait, Mr. Sarcasm! Namco's added a whole Mystery Date element to the announcement by teasing a new, previously unannounced character on the invitations. Will they lift the veil at CES? Probably. If so, we don't have long to wait.
So who might it be? With no other information, we can't assume anything, so this could be an old character gussied up and added to the roster of the new game, or it could be a brand new character we've never seen before. Maybe it won't be one character, but two, in the manner of the system specific characters (Spawn, Heihachi, and Link) in Soul Calibur 2 (although at this time, no Wii version is planned). Personally, I could see that silhouette turning into Magneto, Master Chief, or even one of those creepy Killzone ... things, but I'm crossing my fingers for Gwyneth Paltrow in a big pair of shoulder pads. Let us know if you've got any ideas.

Anyone else notice that every single female character apparently had breast augmentation surgery since the last game? Ivy doesn't even look sexy anymore. She looks like she would be in constant pain.

I say that they expose Ivy's breasts even more! i mean, either they get bigger, or her clothes get smaller.
