Surfer Girl Dishes On Downloadable Games

Early this morning, Surfer Girl, the high priestess of gaming gossip, came in from the waves, combed the salt water from her hair, and delivered a slew of new tidbits, mostly about games that we might download to a console at some point in the next year. Among the rumors:
- Factor 5, makers of the generally disappointing Lair, are working on a downloadable title with a multiplayer component. No word on a platform, and while technically they're independent and can go where they please, they seem pretty fond of the PS3. Considering what they did on Nintendo hardware last generation, I would kill for them to put something on WiiWare, but I don't think that 512 MB hard drive will satisfy them.
- Tron and Discs of Tron will both be available on XBLA in 2008.
- Microsoft will get totally serious about the Xbox originals line-up and will add a ton of new titles to the program. Highlights from the list include the Grand Theft Auto III series of games, KOTORs 1 and 2, Jade Empire, Jet Set Radio Future, Stubbs the Zombie, and Shenmue II. Not-so-highlights include Sneakers and Tork: Prehistoric Punk.
- Expect to see the first two Grand Theft Auto games come to console download services with their mission packs intact.
Also mentioned are a My Sims branded cart racer for the Wii and DS, an Earthquake disaster game due next year from Eidos, and english localizations of the Grasshopper remakes for the DS: The Silver Case, The Silver Case Ward 25, and Flower, Sun, and Rain. Fans of Suda 51 (Killer 7, No More Heroes) should be pretty excited about that last one.
December 30th Things [Surfer Girl Reviews Star Wars]

I look forward to the day that I can download Jet Set Radio Future. I only had the chance to play Jet Grind Radio originally, I'm reasonably sure I can expect the same fun from Future. Hard drive space is finally becoming a problem with all this content though.
Microsoft continues to show it has people old enough to remember 1982 working for them, tempting me yet again to get a 360 just for XBLA.
I just hope they alter the controls in both Tron games to make the games easier to play without a spinner/paddle control. An aiming system like Geometry Wars (but still having to hit the trigger for each shot, because precision is a little more important in Tron) would probably be best. Playing them in MAME, even with a dual analog stick, was just not fun.
The rest of it I could take or leave. They already have Psychonauts on their download service and that's really the only Xbox game I care about, though they're not that hard to come by used anyway.
Well, I guess I'd get Conker if they offered it too, since there's no way Nintendo would put that on their sanitized download service even if they could get the rights.
Oops, I forgot to qualify it with "if this set of Surfer Girl rumors pans out." That's a pretty big if.
@raindog...
I got a 360 for (mostly) XBLA and couldn't be happier. The Achievements for the old arcade games are sometimes the things my friends and I would try to do when the games came out, and the Leaderboards give a sense of the High Score competitiveness from way back then.
Get the Elite though, I've burned through over 20 gigs already in Downloads. :D
I hope the downloadable JSRF doesn't have the horrible crowd slowdown glitch the current emulation causes.
