The Great GayGamer Road Trip 2007: New Beginnings

The Great GayGamer Road Trip 2007 had finally drawn to its inevitable close. Our six day trip took us across nine states, countless gas stations and road food that was in turns fascinating and repulsive. Along the way we saw sights that many have seen before and some that we hope we never see again. Highlights included touring Graceland in Tennessee, visiting the one building town of Cuervo Texas, The Spike Video Game awards and of course the whole of Vegas and especially the Liberace Museum which was a whole trip in and of itself.
Arriving in San Francisco was a homecoming. Toots and I arrived at my dear friend Johnny's house to a tree trimming/welcome home party and it was like I never left. Everyone welcomed Toots with open arms and I think with a little prodding we might even be able to get him to move out here. Now I settle in to the excitement of trying to find a place to live in this very exciting, very expensive city and getting back on track with posting. A week away from writing was very much something I needed after almost a year and a half of working seven days a week. For all you SF GayGamers, we simply must get together. Perhaps another gathering at the Pilsner? If anyone has other suggestions, be sure to let me know!
Toots returns to Atlanta today and by tomorrow we should both be back contributing to the regular fun here at GG castle. We missed you all while we were away and it will be good to be back in the saddle. Be sure to stay tuned for a special wrap up podcast that we will be posting on Thursday once we have our heads settled again. A big thanks to Tiny and rest of the crew for holding down the fort while we've been gone and to the rest of you, we'll see you all back tomorrow!

Best of luck out there in the great wild West!

Welcome to the Bay, FB! As for a get-together, that would be awesome. SF actually has a large number of independent breweries that are really awesome. The brewer's guild even provides this handy online map of where you can find them!

Welcome back!
I would love the idea of a gathering, and the Pilsner Inn sounds perfect to me. Most of the bars are way too crowded and loud--the Pilsner would be quite comfortable :)
is it true what they say about the truckers rest stops?
A good place to meet up could be the new Metro on Market St. near Church. (Used to be a straight bar called Expansion Bar.) The music isn't obnoxiously loud, and there's room to mill about with your peeps (unlike Bar on Castro).
PIlsner is as good as any place.
Last time was excellent fun.
What more does a guy need than cute nerdy boys. :-)
I want to come! Pilsner is on Church, right? I'm almost 21 but not quite, will I still be able to come?
