Video: Age Of Conan Vids
That Conan gets a whole age? While it doesn't explain that epochal title, these videos of Funcom's upcoming MMO Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures do make the gameplay seem worthwhile - here we've got some slashing and spell casting gameplay, and after the jump you can fill your eyeballs with some capture-the-flag swords and sorcery action as well as some acrobatics and CTF victory for the blue team.
Is this fantasy MMORPG going to snag you away from the gazillions of other fantasy MMORPGs? For most online gamers, probably not - but as any dedicated MMO fan will assure you, we've all got our favorites - and Age of Conan is shaping up to be as decent as any other, even though it doesn't really stand out.

Looks at lot like LOTRO to be honest. However the fighting system is supposed to be a radical departure from the point and click of WoW and LOTRO. I know it'll lure a lot of the Ex-WoW crowd who didn't migrate over to LOTRO but I don't see it yet as the superpower they're claiming it will be. Only time will tell but with a steamroller like WoW on the scene and an almost guaranteed future I don't see a lot of people making this their first choice despite what will probably be a very ample and enjoyable game.
