Weekly XBLA Update - 12/12/07
We've got two additions to the Xbox Live Arcade library this week. The first is very 'Arkade' worthy: dungeon crawl and hack'n'slash your way to save the land of Arkadia from the stony glare of a Gorgon in Arkadian Warriors for 800 Microsoft points. Play as one of three shapeshifting characters - the soldier, archer or sorceress, and turn into a phoenix, lion, or dragon.
Or tackle 120 challenge mode levels spread across four different worlds in the weapon-infused racer, Gripshift. 25 race mode tracks and 20 deathmatch arenas round out the racing and online multiplayer - also for 800 Microsoft points.
Three heroic shape-shifting warriors fight to release the Land of Arkadia from the evil Gorgon’s stony gaze. In the uniquely expansive “Arkadian Warriors,” randomly generated dungeons and cooperative multiplayer hack & slash action enhances a deep single-player campaign. The robust cooperative multiplayer mode is available for two players both locally and over Xbox LIVE. Upgrading is key as players hone their skills, acquire loot and master powerful magic spells and numerous deadly weapons in a journey of mythical proportions. “Arkadian Warriors” will be available worldwide for 800 Microsoft Points and is rated E10+ by the ESRB.
