CES 2008: Alienware's Curved Megamonitor

Yes, this fellow is looking into a monitor that wraps around his face. At 2880x900 resolution (not bad for a prototype) and with a response time of a miniscule .02ms, the Alienware seamless curved monitor should go on sale in the second half of this year. At press time there are slightly visible seams between the monitor's panels, but the final product should be one band of seamless gaming videography that's easily more than three feet wide.
And it's not LCD - it's DLP, another unusual trait. Go figure!

900 pixels high? I hope the final version offers something more along the lines of 3840x1600... or at least 2880x1200. 900 pixels high is simply recockulous. If I'm getting a 3-foot monitor, I can't keep my old one around, too. ... Or can I?

Okay, one of these, and 2 20 inch 3:4 pivot monitors running in portrait mode on either side. And another 8800GTX. And a pony.
