EA Buyout of Bioware, Pandemic Finalized Today

As Tiny noted early last October, EA has been negotiating the buyout of Bioware, Pandemic Studios. Many people have been rather woeful about this development, I myself was not to excited when I heard it. Personal opinions and differences aside, the deal has officially been finalized. EA now has their hands on the keys to the doors, so to speak.
All is not lost, as the execs of the respective studios have been named vice-presidents of EA, as well as co-managers of their old houses. I'm sure they are sitting pretty with their piles of buy out cash and stock options as part of the deal as well.
What does this mean for the games? Very little, I'm sure. They still maintain quite a bit of creative control, and now they have EA's financial backing to help them power out higher quality titles.
