Fatal Frame Wii (Pre-rendered) Screens - GLEE!
Is it possible to have carnal thoughts about a video game series? That's how I feel about Fatal Frame. This dark, foreboding series has pretty much had me hook, line and sinker since I played Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly and everyone has been asking when the next one is on it's way.
It's not been given a schedule yet, but the details of the next title have began rolling in. Famitsu recently revealed a big steaming pot of love on the now titled Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse (Rei: Tsukihami no Kame in Japan). The collaboration between Grasshopper Manufacture, Tecmo and Nintendo is being designed for the Wii sometime in the future, and we were finally blessed with some screen captures of what looks like a sequence from the game.
I don't care if it's a pile of screen grabs from a pre-rendered sequence. You could feed me product posters and I would eat them up, at least when it comes to Fatal Frame. I will for one be keeping an eye out for this one.

I'm impressed at how much the graphics have been improved. I'll buy this again on that merit alone.
Can we call these something other than screen shots? Because we all know this isn't gameplay.
great, underappreciated series. It took me so long to complete crimson butterfly as I was to shit scared to play it! A natural fit for the Wii controls, I hope they do a good job.
Its about time! I've always thought the survival/horror game genre was tragically lacking representation. Especially on the Wii... but that third image looks like they took it from the first Resident Evil. you know what i mean?
I can't wait for it :-) I wish they would release a fatal frame collection or on the Xbox greatest hits since its so hard to find now
