Marching Band Hero: Major Minor's Majestic March

Majesco has just announced their latest title in development, Major Minor's Majestic March, a new rhythm/music game for the Wii. What makes this title of particular interest is its creators: Parappa the Rappa alums, Masaya Matsuura and New York artist Rodney Alan Greenblat.
There's something magical about marching bands that truly captures the imagination. The concept of leading a virtual band that's reliant on your musicianship is a perfect fit for the interactive capabilities of Wii," said Gui Karyo, Executive Vice President of Operations, Majesco. "The combined musical and artistic superiority of Matsuura and Greenblat make them a natural choice to deliver this innovative title exclusively to the Wii audience.
Major Minor's Majestic March will put players in the role of Major Minor, a marching band leader who uses the Wii remote as a baton. The object is to gather a band of up to fifteen members and guide them through various locales, avoiding obstacles and picking up various goodies along the way.
The premise sounds bizarre, but it will be interesting to see what team Parappa will come up with. The character art is certainly cute, but will Major Minor be able to reach the same cult like status of Parappa and Unjammer Lammy? Major Minor is set to march onto your Wii holiday 2008.

I'm already sold on it.
Ok it is just me or does this scream G rated happy tree friends?
