Millions Of Rock Band Downloads
Ever since Rock Band came out, the downloadable content has been coming fast and furious. And I've gotta say, as a Guitar Hero player, I've been suppressing my pangs of jealousy every time I read about another awesome song available for that game while GH got next to nothing.
Harmonix and MTV Games announced that over 2.5 million songs have been sold through Xbox LIVE Marketplace and the PlayStation Network. So far, the best-selling download has been the Metallica pack, followed by combo packs from The Police, Queens of the Stone Age and David Bowie. And for individual songs, "Juke Box Hero" by Foreigner tops the list. (Love that song!)
Now I wish I'd used my Xmas money to buy Rock Band instead of a new DS. Guitar Hero is falling way behind with the downloadable songs, and has a lot of work to do to catch up!
