Ninja Gaiden DS Demo Coming To Japan

Today, Tecmo announced that a demo for Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword will be coming to the Wii in mid-March via the Everyone's Nintendo Channel and DS Station kiosks. The aforementioned channel, as you may or may not know, has yet to make itself available to Wii owners here in the United States. It's been around in Japan for a couple of months now with only "a bunch of Touch Generation non-game samplers" available for download. Could this be a signal that we might get that channel over here in the near future? I hope so.
One of the most touted features of the Wii was to be able to download demos to your DS. It would be nice to see that come to fruition with real demos all over the world. Even so, when all is said and done, IGN points out that the demo could possibly be the same demo as the one that is currently available at download stations in the U.S. Still, downloading the demo from my Wii would make me feel all warm and squishy inside. How about you?
