Nintendo 64 Games: The Rarest and the Most Expensive

Love this game.

Retro gaming extraordinaire, RacketBoy, has produced a guide to the rarest and most valuable Nintendo 64 games around. I have the pleasure of owning a few of these, but some came across as quite a surprise. If only I knew then what I knew now, what a mightier N64 collection I would have today. Some of the games I have include Conker's Bad Fur Day ($30-$50, love it! I also have it for the Xbox.) and Bomberman 64 The Second Attack ($30-$87). More recently, I downloaded Sin & Punishment ($45-$50) on the Virtual Console. Since S&P's release on the VC, however, the cartridge can actually be purchased for as low as $20.

The list is a good one, listing games both obscure and well known. It's a shame that I didn't grab Ogre Battle 64 the 1,001 times I have seen it around. Silly Timsy. For the complete list, follow the link below.

Once upon a time, I owned Bomberman 64: The Second Attack. It was a favorite multiplayer game in my household, as I assumed the role of Bomberman and any one of my friends, or my little sister, became Pommy--I was usually either Wizard Pommy or Fairy Pommy, as those were usually impervious to enemy attacks, making their life easier, and Fairy Pommy could heal me. Yet I sold it. I then began to pine after it, having never really beat it (and because it had some sweet music), and now I miss it. And of course I then discovered how hard it is to fine. Ah, the foolishness of youth...

funny, I picked up Sin & Punishment tonight complete for $35 after shipping. ($27 final bid.)

Bakuretsu Muteki Bangaio I did have to pay a sizable sum for, $90, but it was brand new, pristine condition. one of my favorite dreamcast games only made better by a controller that more suits it. already own about half of their list with box and manual, too. yay collecting!

*Cries* I wish I could still play Mario Party 2. My N64 died.

Wow. I just saw Ogre Battle 64 for $5 at a local resale shop. I guess I might as well pick that up and add it to the collection.
