Peggle Coming to XBLA: Mothers Set To Take Over 360s Worldwide
What originally started out as a couple unannounced titles being discovered on the ESRB web page, has now turned into confirmation that I will be watching a lot of balls sliding around erratically. It has been confirmed that Peggle will be coming to Xbox Live Arcade.
To those uninformed, Peggle is one of the single most addicting causal puzzlers ever devised. The game lies somewhere between Breakout, and Pachinko. Players aim a cannon, fire, and attempt to force their chrome, spherical projectile to hit all the orange colored blocks on the screen. The game is controlled entirely using one button.
Amazingly enough there is a considerable amount of strategy in the game, allowing more "dedicated" players to play for higher scores and what have you. Just remember kids, do not let your mothers see this. I introduced my family to this game, and I'm still getting replays files in my email.
Also listed on the ESRB page were Bliss Island from Codemasters and Majesco ba Ultra Bust-A-Move.
