PlayStation Network Update For 1-4-08

The programming for the PlayStation Network update this week is a little strange. Essentially they have merely released a slew of Add-ons for three games, Guitar Hero III, Rock Band, and Need for Speed: ProStreet.
Guitar Hero III doesn't have any standout tracks avaiable, but Rock Band gets some southern love with The Black Crows' song Hard to Handle and Lynyrd Skynyrd's Gimme Three Steps. Rush should be pretty great to play also with the Sounds, All American Rejects, and 30 Seconds to Mars rounding out the offering. So unless you own any of these games, you can pretty much skip the PlayStation Store this week.
Oh yeah, there's a demo for NFL Tour '09 and a GT5 Japanese launch trailer available. Hmmm... wake me when something interesting hits the network, really.
