Preview: Professor Layton and the Curious Village

This has got to be good.

It should be obvious by now that some of us in the castle have a chubby for Professor Layton and the Curious Village. The gorgeous cutscenes and fantastic voice acting are enough to get most people interested if they enjoy any type of animation. Anyways, before I gush anymore on this game, 1-Up has a preview on the upcoming title. They, too, are very big fans of the game's style and puzzles.

According to their report, every person in the village has a puzzle waiting for you, but the game can be completed in a short amount of time. Thankfully, we should be able to look forward to a weekly downloadable puzzle. Another bit of information is revealed that I previously did not realize. Nintendo itself is doing the localization for North America. Knowing that only gets me even more excited.

I look forward to diving into the Curious Village with Prof. Layton and his young apprentice. To read the preview, just follow the link.

I can't wait for this. The art style is a dream come true and I love that the story is moved forward by puzzle solving. I ache for it. I ache.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
