PSP Skype Confirmed, Coming In January

pspskypelogo.jpg

PSP Slim owners will have a new feature to brag about by the end of the month. According to the Nikkei Net news service of Japan, Sony will launch the previously rumored Skype service for its popular handheld with free calling from PSP to PSP and PSP to PC. Those users who prefer to have a dedicated phone number for their PSP can obtain one for ¥2250 (about $20 US) for a three month period. As long as finding a wifi hotspot isn't an issue for you, your PSP could start saving you minutes on your cell if you are so inclined.

Any PSP Slim users out there clamoring for VOIP via their beloved handheld? Or are you an original PSP owner who will feel as though they are missing out?

More features always = good. The PSP is turning into a groovy little device.

I may go turn in my old PSP for one of the newer models. My only issue is that the new ones feel so cheap compaired to the older ones, I got my brother one for x-mas and when he let me play it i felt like I was gonna crack it in half.

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
