Saw: The Game?

Although I can't say I am a huge fan of the "torture porn" horror sub-genre, Saw was a relatively clever twisted little film. Saw II was kind of unnecessary, and Saw III was relatively awful, in my opinion. Needless to say, I didn't even bother with Saw IV. However, they keep raking in the cash, so a fifth flick is on the way. And Brash Entertainment has announced that they will be doing a videogame tie-in for its release date of Halloween, 2009.
There's no details yet, but the developers are apparently working closely with the creators of the films, and promise the game "will have its own unique storyline, while answering questions left unanswered by the Saw films." It makes me wonder what the gameplay will be. At first, I thought it could be like a puzzle game, as you try to escape the killer's death traps, but since half the fun of the movies is watching people die grisly deaths in those ridiculously complicated traps, not getting that payoff would kind of suck. So maybe it'll be like the Deception series of games from Tecmo where you set traps for invaders to your castle. It would certainly be more fun to play the killer (or maybe that's just me)!
