Dead: Super Smash Bros. Brawl for $19.82 At Wal-Mart.com!

Act fast folks, these things usually don't last long. In fact, it could be one of those deals where they say the price is incorrect and cancel your order. ...but why miss this potential opportunity? I called the boyfriend and he's already ordered it, you should, too. Happy hunting!
Update: It would indeed seem that the price has been increased when adding the game to your cart. Now we'll see if they honor the lower price.

Hell yes! I really hope they honor this. I don't need any more reasons to take a crap right in the middle of a Wal-Mart aisle.
The site still says 19.82. However when you click to pre-order it, the price is changed on the next screen to 49.82.
Estimated shipping takes your total up to 52 dollars!
(Still roughly the same as if you bought it in a store)
Unfortunately, retailers are not legally obligated to honor such mistakes in advertised prices. :/ Sometimes, I think they do it on purpose.
When I ordered it at 9:30 this morning, the final price charged to my credit card was $23.43. It even says it on a confirmation e-mail I received. Hopefully I beat the system's update and they won't retcon the price. If they change it back, they better just refund my credit card or I'll be making a few calls to local news stations. *evil grin*
Same here as Mudd. It charged my card the $23 a few minutes before noon. It's illegal for them to automatically charge me again for the difference should they notice the error, but I'm hoping they don't cancel these orders.
It gives a "Product Not Found" error now...damn, I was hoping to snag that deal.
Just received a message saying "We have received your request to cancel the item(s) listed below from your order..."
Um, excuse me? I certainly didn't ask to cancel the order...
Order cancellations are coming in. If your value a chance to be a bitch more than you value your time, you can get to walmart.com human customer service by dialing 1-800-966-6546 and pressing # twice.
Try to get to a supervisor. If possible, try to get to a supervisor before explaining that it's regarding a canceled game order, as the bottom-tier reps have been instructed not to escalate these calls.
Yeah, mine was cancelled as well.
Funny, the email they sent me (We've Received Your Request for Cancellation) listed THE WRONG CUSTOMER SUPPORT NUMBER!
Oh well, it's late, and I didn't feel like screaming on the phone for an hour just to seal a $30 discount.
The customer support rep seemed perturbed as well, because she was also looking forward to her copy.
Here's a relevant slice of my email to help@walmart.com.
"She explains to me that the distributor made an error and that walmart.com would not be honoring the advertised price. I explain to her that an offer was made, accepted, and thereby a contract (it seems to me, ignorant yokel, though I am) had been created: a contract of which walmart.com was now in breech.
She reiterates that walmart.com will not be honoring the offered price, and directs me to the terms of use. I follow her instructions to access to the terms of use, where it explains that walmart.com reserves the right to correct pricing errors. I scratch my head for a moment, and refer back to my order confirmation. Again, I quote, " Once an order has been placed and confirmed, it cannot be canceled." My order, it would seem, had been placed and confirmed. Referring back to the terms of use, I find the text, " Walmart.com cannot confirm the price of an item until after you order." That word... confirm. My order was confirmed, at the product price of $19.82 at xxxx p.m. This occurred after I ordered. It seems to me that, according to walmart.com's terms of use, Wal-mart's right to cancel my order expired at xxxx p.m."
If thou art butthurt, stir up some shit.
