Team Fortress 2 Gets Content, Rebalancing On PC
![]()
Orange Box continues to have positive repercussions for Valve and their properties, with the PC version of the included Team Fortress 2 slated to get rebalanced (as per player feedback, which is nice) along with some new achievements and maps. Valve has called the rebalancing "a large scale modification to the core of the game," which sounds like something that might be propagated across other platforms - even though Valve says plans for the 360 and PS3 versions remain "undecided."
The two new maps feature a remake of the TFC map "Badlands," while some of the rebalancing touches upon a Medic fix, just one of the new updates to the game. Look for the update within the next two months - and some other content that will precede it.

*Sigh* Further proof that Valve has written off the console versions of TF2. Us silly people who still try to play TF on the 360 are having a harder time finding servers every day (why oh why do people start matches they haven't the bandwidth to maintain?). The fact that fewer people play the console version is Valve's fault, of course, because of the lag issue... and I'm sad to see that Valve isn't at least trying to fix the buggy product they put out.
I dearly hope that Demomen get their damage toned down a bit. One sticky grenade killing an overcharged Heavy = WAY overpowered.
And honestly, the 360 version is defective by design anyway, considering you can't play custom maps on it and you have to use a controller instead of mouse/keyboard.
