Video: Line Rider Trailer
Line Rider, one of the most popular internet Flash games of 2007 is finally getting it's promised Wii and DS treatment. The Line Rider himself seems to have remained pretty much the same although the "lines" themselves seem to have gotten quite a makeover. It's difficult to tell from this short trailer exactly how the game mechanic works, but one would assume (from having played the original) that you will use the Wii remote (or DS stylus) to sketch out the line and then the game fills in the fancy mountain graphics for you. However it ends up working, it looks like it will be good fun and a great, innovative use of the Wii remote.

So I see the rider (and an annoying rider he is).... where'd the lines go?
This review has made one huge mistake.
With the new game, lines will still work in exactly the same way as the original - only with colour! All the mountains, bridges, slow, etc that you see in this video was DRAWN by "TechDawg" - none of it is automatically generated at all!
