Video: Pixel Junk Monsters On Your PS3 And PSP

Hey there. This is the first time I've seen Remote Play used in a trailer or advertisement for a specific game, and I have to say that it looks pretty cool from a marketing perspective even though I don't have a terribly clear idea of what Pixel Junk Monsters is actually like. I'm feeling a kind of 3D Worms meets Pokemon? I dunno. It looks neat, though.

This cutie from Q-Games doesn't have a shelf date yet, although it won't actually need a shelf, being as it is a PSN download that you can play both on the PS3 and the PSP via Remote Play. At this point I'm thinking that playing a PSN game on my PSP via Remote Play will have to be awesome, because it's taken half a dozen firmware updates on both ends and a kajillion manhours of programming and engineering. If the experience isn't fantastic, there will be blood.

This looks a bit like Tower Defense, but more RTS-sy. I'm not sure, but it looks cute. Yeah monsters!

i read on the blog that the producer sited TD as an inspiration for the game, so basically it's TD + 1080p + multiplayer + remote play...

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
