Video: Soul Calibur IV Trailer With Yoda And Vader
I few days ago Namco dropped a pretty big bomb on us with the announcement of Yoda and Vader's appearance in Soul Calibur IV. It seemed like the most bizarre and unlikely pairing of franchises, but somehow fitting. Both franchises are known for badass weaponry and fearsome battles. When I originally read the story, I thought that I was having a nerd fever dream induced by gorging my psyche on the Sci-Fi channel for too long, but Namco assures it, they will be playable characters. I dug up this footage of the duo in action. Check them out at the end of the video, once you see them square off against their opponents, you will see why they have been included in the game.

I was expecting a Star Wars subtitle at the end. They don't fit, and it's such an obvious money ploy, but if they don't mess up the story too bad I wont be a bitch about it.
Who gives a shit if the little green dude and the big black dude are in this feature? Isn't that what Soul Caliber IS? Isn't that what ANY fighting game is? To test the boundaries of who can whoop who's ass? Now if they just made Marvel vs Capcom 3 vs Ergheiz vs Smash Brothers vs DC vs PowerPuff Girls...we'd be set.
