WiiWare Coming In March?
Wii owners jealous of Sony's PSN and Microsoft XBLA may not have to feel that way any longer, with Engine Software indicating that Nintendo's WiiWare should be along in just a couple months.
"Nintendo's WiiWare service is a new downloadable game content service that is scheduled to be launched in March 2008," stated Engine Software.
Engine Software is currently working on a couple DS projects and a downloadable WiiWare title called Project Bang. There's still no official release date from Nintendo, so take this with at least a teaspoon of salt. But I'm actually looking forward to WiiWare. I mean, if anyone knows casual games, it's Nintendo. I just worry that the Wii's internal memory isn't going to be enough, and shortly after WiiWare launches, we're going to have a run on memory cards or an official Nintendo external hard drive.
