You Gotta Have Faith… And a .45

Lookin' for a little Bonnie & Clyde action on your next-gen console? Well, look no further than Faith And A .45, coming from Deadline Games. Luke and Ruby are two outlaw lovers who battle a ruthless oilman who's out for their blood. Set during the Great Depression, it sure does sound like a variation on the Bonnie & Clyde story. However, the developer's description of it being set "in an original take on the Great Depression" sounds a little suspicious. How original, you may ask? Well, they go on to describe the game as a "gritty, cross-country epic — a road journey with guns, a dark army of steel-plated vehicles and armour-clad pyromaniacs." Yeah. So not so much with the realistic depiction of Depression-era vehicles and weapons, then.
Still, it's got a smashing title, and I love the concept art. No release date yet, but they will be presenting the game "by invitation only" to selected publishers at the 2008 Game Developers Conference. And these are the guys responsible for Total Overdose and Chili Con Carnage, so they obviously know their quirky shooters!
