Devil May Cry 4 Downloaded 1 Million + Times On Xbox LIVE

Between January 24 (the day the Devil May Cry 4 demo popped up on LIVE) and February 9, 2008, the Xbox 360 demo has been downloaded one million times. According to Capcom, the demo has been averaging around 25,000 downloads a day and it just keeps on going. Not bad for just over 2 weeks for a demo. Of course, it is a pretty huge title and I have no doubt that Xbox 360 owners were very eager to get their hands on the former Sony exclusive.
The game has not done too shabby at retail, either. Within days of its release, major retailers were already having to reorder the game to replenish their stock. Again, no surprise there.
Have you tried out the demo or the game? If so, what did you think? I thought it was very fun and look forward to getting my hands on it once I have relieved my couch of its monetary possessions.

I love my copy! had that thing on preorder since the end of nov! and now that I can finally play it, I get all happy inside!
After months of anticipation, I went to great lengths to get a copy on the day it shipped (as opposed to the day it retailed). An afternoon later, I was pretty unimpressed: Nero is unfunny (in an unironic sort of way), which is a shame because with all of its other flaws, this game needs a good protagonist. Anyway, DMC4 and Kingdom Under Fire have taught me that pre-retail hype is just a lot of hot air.
A solid game, not as mind-blowingly awesome as 3 was, though. It was probably a mistake splitting the storyline into 2 pieces for Nero and Dante, I mean, didn't they learn from DMC2?
Thanks for the feedback guys. I've been going back and forth about buying this one...but now I'm thinking "rental".

I've heard that DMC4 is pretty hard. Those of you who own it, do you think that's true? Or was the person who told me that just out of practice.
I was going to buy it, but because I can't justify spending any more money on games right now (other than Professor Layton) so DMC4 has been relegated to my Goozex/Gamefly queues.
