English Of The Dead?
NeoGAF and VideoGame-Forums have posted seemingly legit news about English of the Dead, a successor to the devilishly literate Typing of the Dead. Unfortunately the game seems to be predicated upon the player being Japanese, translating pop-up Japanese words into English to defeat what I'm sure are hordes of well-spoken zombies. It appears that the Sega-produced game will head to the Japanese DS this spring. Some details:
- Action game where you defeat hordes of zombies with the power of English
- Zombies spew Japanese, and you write the English translation in on the touchscreen
- 6 stages
- Training, Auto Listening modes
What do we want? BLAINS!
When do we want them? Eventually!
This baby would be a true bitch to localize. Any ideas?

now I would love to see "Engrish Of The Deadu!"
It works the other way too, I guess—it's a way of testing your Japanese vocab if you're learning Japanese. Might be worth my checking of it out. :D
