Japan Gets PS3 Budget Titles

folklore-box-art.jpg

The Greatest Hits Collection on the PS2 has been a great way to pick up those must-have titles at a reasonable price. PS3 owners have been looking forward to a Greatest Hits collection to bulk up their library without busting their bank accounts. Fortune smiles, because Japan is getting their collection on March 19th, which means we will be getting the same thing in a few months.

Included in the first batch of "Playstation 3 The Best" linup are; Resistance, FolksSoul, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Gundam: Target in Sight, and Ridge Racer 7. Each of these will be priced at 2,800 yen.

Our darling Dawdle pointed towards the budget titles this weekend past, through Surfer Girl's predictions, but they may have been lost in her wake. There has been no announcement as to when we will be expecting the same savings here in the states, or how much we should be paying for the titles, but I expect it to be about $30. That's not bad for such great games as Resistance and maybe this will push some people off the fence about Folklore. Pick it up when it goes budget, it's totally worth it.
