LucasArts President Announces Resignation

Jim Ward, president ot LucasArts, has announced his resignation. The announcement came in a prepared statement to Kotaku earlier today saying he would leave the company in the coming weeks. No reasons for his departure were given other than they were personal. Now, Jim Ward has come forward to talk about it. From Kotaku:
"I am so proud of all people and the work we've done together at LucasArts over the last four years," he wrote. "It's been an incredible experience. Together we've rebooted the company and set LucasArts on a path to even greater success. This is a fantastic team and they are positioned for their best year ever."
Margaret Grohne, the Public Relations director for the gaming department of Lucas Films, said LucasArts learned of Ward's impending departure on Monday evening. She went on to say that he told the company he was leaving for personal reasons and did not elaborate on what those reasons might be. Grohne added that Howard Roffman, president of Lucas Licensing, will step in during the transition while a search for a new president is conducted. Ward will be leaving the company on a straight course and nothing will be delayed or thrown off schedule by his departure.
Mr. Ward, we wish you the very best of luck as you move on from LucasArts.

How do you announce your "registration." What did he register for? Did he register for a profile on Manhunt ((+shudder+)) and George Lucas is some big homophobe, so it effectively terminated his job? Damn George Lucas! When will the hate STOP?!? C'mon, even in a galaxy far far away there has to be at least one (good-looking) homo!
Sorry, just curious (and feeling the need to ramble).
Could this mean that his successor might be more open to brining back the old Adventure game franchises maybe? *cough Monkey Island 5 cough*
Probably not, but a guy can dream.
