Microsoft To Cease Production Of HD-DVD Drive
As expected, Microsoft made an announcement that they will no longer manufacture the HD-DVD player for the Xbox 360. Microsoft added that they will, however, continue standard product and warranty support for the device. The company believes the device's discontinuation will not have an effect on their position in the market or on the Xbox 360 platform. It was a short announcement and that is about all that was said.
I'm sure there will be more price drops on the horizon. Are any of you going to jump on board? If you do, don't forget your floaties.

Time's ripe to get into the HD world. There's a player for about 90 bucks out there and 200 movies that are gonna plummet in price as everyone gears up for BluRay. I love being a late adopter!
