PlayStation Network Update For 2-1-2008

The days of Folklore add-ons have come to a close with these last two packs, add-on #5 and #6, each priced at $3.99 or as a bundle for $5.99. There was a surprising amount of content released for this quirky RPG adventure. I'm really glad it was supported and I hope to see more interesting RPGs released for the PS3 in the future. If you have a copy of the game consider picking up the packs before they disappear from the store entirely.
The only new playable demo is Conflict Denied Ops. Hmmm. What I gather, it's a two player co-op FPS of special unidentified operatives, set in today's unruly political climate. Hmm, I've got Tom Clancy on the phone and he wants his game back. Nothing about this title grabbed my attention since I saw the screenshots and read the rather uninspired title. Play it, see what you think, it's free.
New Rock Band tracks are available for $1.99. We have Smashing Pumpkins' "Siva" from their debut album Gish. Rush's "Working Man" which is a cover. And to round out the set, Coheed & Cambria's "Ten Speed (Of God's Blood and Burial)"
There are some game trailers for Go! Sports Skydiving, and Battlefield: Bad Company.
A new theme for the excellent Pixel Junk Monsters is available in a rainbow of colors. Cute theme, I have in installed on my home system.
Check out the trailer for the new Narnia movie, Prince Caspian. It looks pretty great. As with the previous Narnia movie, the magical feel of the novels have been stripped away for the brutality of Lord of the Rings.

Heads up, the conflict demo is out on Xbox Live for anyone who cares
