Rumorama: PS3 To Get In-Game XMB
Rumors have been flying for a while about the inclusion of in-game XMB support for the PS3. Sony has been denying it for equal time. Now a little tidbit has surfaced that may prove that we will be getting in-game XMB. One NeoGaf contributor snapped this shot of the Official PlayStation Site homepage before it mysteriously disappeared. It reveals some tantalizing info.
"Talk to others during game play, say hello anytime you're online, or have a video chat with an Eye camera; USB Camera or headset."
Hopefully this means that I can be playing my game, and send a chat request to one of my friends who is playing another game, then we can sit there and gab while we play. Sounds like terrific fun, expect to hear something about his at the upcoming GDC.
