Rumorama: Upcoming Redesign For PlayStation Store

Recently we've had tons of great news coming from Sony including the Metal Gear Beta in April, the shmancy MGS4 PS3 bundle, the fierce-as-all-hell God of War CoO PSP bundle, and we FINALLY get our DualShock back in April. Now another little rumor is trickling around the interwebs about a possible redesign of the PlayStation Store.
Kotaku is reporting that one of their sources have claimed the PlayStation Store will be getting a graphical user interface makeover in April to coincide with the Gran Turismo 5 Prologue launch on April 15th. Apparently the redesign will function like the SingStore (pictured above), which has a very sleek design with a nav bar at the bottom of the page.
This redesign has been long needed. It is no secret that I'm always on my PS3, playing games on the network, surfing the interwebs, chatting with friends, enjoying the sleek intuitive interface, except for the Store. For the longest time I thought the DLC was programmed for a short window of time because of the confusing navigation. It seemed that there was only so many slots available for content, and when it became too old, it was pulled. It wasn't until I started looking into view all, and navigating the list of games, videos, bundles, add-ons that I finally found the content I was looking for. It's a mess with too much ad space and not enough ease of navigation.

What a good time for Sony to introduce movie and tv downloads!
Well, is that the old store? It looks a lot like SingStore pics I've seen. It's cool.
Well hopefully the new one will be cooler.
It's about time. The store as it is right now is almost intolerable.
No, that's the theme customization of the SingStar Store. I picked that picture because of Beyonce, she makes me laugh.
