Stunning Gallery For Valkyrie Of The Battlefield
Sega's Japanese PS3-exclusive Valkyrie of the Battlefield employs one of the best cell-shading engines I have ever seen in a game. The still shots succeeds the pre-rendered sketched cell-shading for Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions for PSP.
Not only are the visuals stunning, but the action sounds equally impressive to compliment the beautiful style. Battles take place in a turn-based fashion similar to Advance Wars, called the B.L.I.T.Z. system. Battle of Live Tactical Zone systems. Each round you view your units on an overhead map, but zoom in to move them on the battlefield. This action-oriented, turn-based strategy coupled with the best in-game cell-shading around seems like an irresistible combination. Sega, please bring it to the states, I'll buy a copy, promise.
