Video: Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust

GameTrailers has the exclusive teaser for Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust, and it's chock full of dated pop culture references old (the Gears of War Mad World trailer) and older (Michael Jackson's Thriller video). While I doubt that playing a diminutive chauvinist hot on the trail of giant breasts is going to appeal to this site's target audience, perhaps a few a you remember a time when LSL was considered a pretty decent example of the adventure genre, or at least marginally shocking compared to most other video game fare.

If they want to titillate, maybe the game's women should look less like grown-up Bratz dolls (although maybe that's what straight guys are into now). If they mean to shock, can they even compete with what else is out there anymore? Is there a place for Leisure Suit Larry in a post-2 Girls 1 Cup world, where a Google image search for the word "popsicle" is more outrageous than anything this new game is likely to deliver? Of course, if turns out the game is actually funny and decent, more power to them. Regardless, they're giving it a go on the PC, PS2, Xbox 360, and PS3 sometime later this year. Best of luck!

And girls who like girls who like rumble packs!
