Video: Oscilloscope + Atmega Microcontroller = Vector Tetris!
I know that this just means that my fly is open and my geekiness is hanging out, but I love it when people make things like dedicated games on a microcontroller. I was into PIC-Pong when it was announced, and this is no exception. Just as a little background, lots (if not all, I've never seen one that didn't have it) oscilloscopes have this thing called XY mode, which essentially turns them into a vector display (like those used in asteroids). That being said, this guy did a fantastic job recreating Tetris using one.
Simply brilliant work. It's just goes to show what a little creativity and some breadboard work can do.

That's cool, but I'd be more impressed if he could get rid of the gravity and make it a true Tetris machine. If the blocksn really fell like that, even a novice could play a game forever.
True dat, bubble. He either adapted well to the gravity factor for mazzive comboz, or he couldn't win a game of proper tetris if his life depended on it. Either way, neato!
