Weekly XBLA Update: 02/06/08
In addition to this week's update for Crystal Quest, XBLA gets Poker Smash, which is more like Bejeweled than poker - the game expands upon traditional match-three puzzle meme by adding a poker twist, namely the challenge of forming a vertical or horizontal poker hand while matching colored tiles.
Seven modes of gameplay plump up that 800 Microsoft Point cost, including 55 puzzle levels, a custom playlist, split screen man-on-man and some new kinds of leaderboards - who doesn't like innovative passive competition?

Poker Smash™ is an action-packed puzzle game with a poker twist. Poker Smash expands on the traditional match-three puzzle mechanic with elements of one of the world's most popular card games: poker. Make vertical and horizontal matches by forming poker hands, and play in seven different game modes, including multiplayer. Fast and fluid controls paired with radical features such as super-slow motion and card-blasting bombs make this game a whole new puzzle experience!
