What did you play this weekend?
It's been a hectic week for the boys in San Francisco and for myself. Now that I have time to write stuff during daylight hours, I am doing that so I can get to what I desire most. Games. In a few moments I plan to fire up Final Fantasy X, do the temples from Djose to Zanarkand (I already redid Besaid) so I can get the last aeon that I need, Enema Anima...well, actually, I need the Magus Sisters, too. Dammit. Anyways, just before bed, I'll hit up Prof. Layton for some more hot puzzle action and take a swing at this week's downloadable puzzle. As I said, it's been a crazy week and a busier weekend, so my list of games is short.
So, having said all that, what did you play this weekend?

Penumbra: Overture. Pretty fun so far. I feel like I need to pick up a copy of the sequel while I still can...
Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings. I'm surprised at how much I'm enjoying this game. Not only is an interesting from a gameplay standpoint, but it is actually difficult in some areas.
lol at the Enema/Anima thingy.
Im actually playing Final Fantasy XI.
its a nice game, but only enjoyable if you have alot of time.

Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Devil May Cry 4, Rockband, Gears of War
FFX was fun, even tho gettin the damn 2 final aeons was a total suck fest [anima and magus sisters]. They are totally worth it if you didn't level up your characters well like I did! haha!
Final Fantasy X was a truly excellent game. I need to finish Final Fantasy X-2. People give the game a lot of shit, and yeah the story pretty much sucks, but it has one of the most enjoyable battle systems in the series, I think. And I'm totally addicted to earning each and every skill for each dress sphere for the girls.
In between hours of World of Warcraft, I am playing Advance Wars: Days of Ruin.
I finished Sly 2, and started Final Fantaxy X-2 on my PS2 , with some touches of The Spiderwick Chronicles. And on my PSP, it's the awful The Golden Compass (I wanna see the real ending, BTW the movies also sucked, BIG time), and PoPoLoCrois.
I got some new Rock Band tracks so I played that some. Then I started up Xenosaga Episode 1 on my PS3 and it looks better than on my PS2. It's tough to play a lot of it at once though as the cut scenes really grind some nerves as some are just pointless and long (average is 7 minutes and the first game has almost 80 cut scenes).
Mostly Assassin's Creed which admittedly took me forever to get into, with a splash of Lego Star Wars and The Simpsons Game. :D
Guitar Hero 3 and Rock the 80's, it was a friends play weekend.
Rented Lost Planet: Extreme Condition and came to the conclusion it's fun neither to watch nor play...so I jumped back into Bioshock. I freaking love Bioshock.
Spent all day Sunday attempting to beat the final boss(es) in Kingdom Hearts. . . And I did! Oh, and I'm loving me some Professor Layton as well.
Professor Layton was a big hit, squeezed in a little Oblivion, Devil May Cry 4, Trauma Center New Blood, Zack and Wiki, and of course the houseful of homos on Saturday night for lots of Rock Band and Mario Kart DS.
Good times.
WoW...lots and lots of WoW. Of course.
I did break out my DS while watching the Oscars, though- finished a few NYT crossword puzzles and played lots of Puzzle Quest during the interminable montages.
