It's really tempting to get "The Black Mages III: Darkness & Starlight", but its still over $26. Since the previous two albums are on iTunes for $10, I think I may just wait. Sigh...
I might use this opportunity to buy Diagrasso! Brothers and Ouendan. Why must you make my wallet so empty with your delicious deals Play-Asia!!!
Protip: Ouendan 2 for $23 is a steal and Slide Adventure: Mag Kid worth picking up at $15. Something odd and different.
I'm so tempted by Orange Box and Dj Max Port. 2. Curse you, Brute. I'm already broke enough this month! ;)
I bought all 7 of the Nintendo "bit Generations" GBA games from Play-Asia awhile back. There are a few I haven't really played yet, and while the best of them so far (Orbital) is listed as out of stock/print at Play-Asia, the second best (Dialhex) is available dirt cheap. Cheap as in $7.92 -- and I can't tell, but you might even get another 20% off that sale price!? Dialhex is a cool puzzler, sort of like Hexic, but with colored triangular pieces falling into the playing area from the top. The triangles form overlapping hexagons, which you rotate to align 6 triangles of the same color into a hexagon; when you do this, the solid-colored hexagon clears. Things can get crazy as you progress, since the number of different colors increases (as in Hexic, etc.) as pieces continue raining down from above while you frantically try to clear hexagons before the playing area fills up. The graphics are low-tech -- the point of the bit Generations games is retro graphics with solid, innovative gameplay -- but the packaging is cool. If you like games of the Tetris/Hexic/Lumines variety, I'd pick up Dialhex now before it's too late -- it is a total steal at this price, and importing it is the only way you'll likely ever see it! :)
^ I bought these a while back as well. Coloris was my favorite. All are worth picking up with the exception of Boundish.
i'm so jealous! i've been trying to collect the all of the games in the bit generation collection, but orbital and coloris are listed as out of print, and dotstream is still $25 (i'm tempted to get it though). i must say though, digidrive and dialhex are great time-wasters. i've heard a lot of bad things about boundish, but at $7.95, i couldn't pass it up (and the boxes are awesome!).
