Dr. Who Game In The Works

And well, that's about all we know. Eidos has confirmed to game blog videogaming247 that they are indeed working on a previously unannounced Dr. Who title for PC, PS2, and DS.
"We haven't announced a release date at the moment. It's not too far away. We should be showing it to [press] quite soon."
One question is, of course, which Doctor will it be? Will we get to play several? I'd imagine it's the new one to promote the new series, but my heart yearns for more Tom Baker. We've heard nothing as to exactly what kind of game this will be either. Given the systems they announced, it's not going to be a next-gen blockbuster, so I am hoping for an adventure game of some kind. Like movie games, TV games can vary greatly so who knows if it will be good.
However, if we end up with Dr. Who's Wacky TARDIS racing, I will crack skulls.

There already was a Doctor Who game, almost 15 years ago. It had the first seven Doctors in it, and was pretty dreadful.
It would be cool if you could design your own version of the Doctor.
And it's about time...!
There've been a few Doctor Who games out. "Destiny of the Doctors" was a bug riddled, clunky disaster and "Dalek Attack" was actually quite good if you like platformers.
