Fan Art: Mario Makes A New Friend
The Super Smash Bros. series has seen Mario and friends meet a few strange bedfellows, but this piece of fan art by Ismael Alvarez is a slightly more tender take on cross company relations. Mario and the extra-friendly neighborhood Spider-Man aren't exactly a couple I'd have pictured getting together, but here there are in a little over-the-mask action. What base is that, exactly?
I haven't followed the comics in a while, but I hear that Spidey's been having some girl trouble lately, and I guess it's been enough to drive him into the arms of a plumber with delicate eyelashes and a well groomed 'stache. Oh Mephisto, what hath you wrought?
