Fathers & Sons Battle For Xbox Game

23059433.jpg

I just love a good crazy news story. And there are always reports about kids beating up other kids over videogames. Because then they can throw in some digs about how games make kids violent. Oh, if only the parents were there to help keep these violent, videogame-playing kids in line! Well, it would seem that sometimes having the parent around just makes things worse.

Over in West Haverstraw, New York, Michael Malta, 43, and son Anthony, 18, have been arraigned on assault charges after attacking another father and son with a baseball bat during an argument over the ownership of an Xbox game. The 45-year-old man and his own 18-year-old son were hospitalized for their injuries suffered after Anthony Malta accused the other boy of stealing the Xbox game from his house.

Seriously? What a lucky kid to have a dad who will not only approve of using physical violence to solve an argument, but join in to help, too! "I learned it from you, dad!" (There's no information on what game it was, but I bet it wasn't even worth stealing...)
