GameTap Original Captain McGrandpa Coming April 1

April Fools Day is the bane of bloggers everywhere. If we read or hear about something happening on April 1st, we have to question it, no matter how plausible or real it sounds. So take the following with a grain of salt until the fateful day comes and goes.
A "mysterious" game has shown up in GameTap's listings set to debut April 1st: Captain McGrandpa - Memory of the Forgotten. Information is scant, although there is a short description of the game.
The latest GameTap Originals production, Captain McGrandpa - Memory of the Forgotten is the first truly multiplayer adventure game. Using brand new technology developed at GameTap HQ, an unlimited number of players will be able to shape the world and story around them, in real time, with limitless possibilities. Only as a community can we help Captain McGrandpa find his way. Are you up to the challenge? Or will your memories remain forgotten?
The title certainly sounds like someone's trying to pull a fast one, but that alone is not concrete evidence that the whole thing is a hoax. GameTap members will be able to find out for themselves in a few short days. If the game turns out to be something really cool, you'll probably hear about it again. If the whole thing is just the company being goofy, we'll all just roll our eyes and go back to our lives as if this never happened.

I hope this game features Angela Lansbury and Matlock in a death match.
Definitely not a real game.
Having been burned by Gametap's treatment of Uru Live all this pap about:
"Using brand new technology developed at GameTap HQ, an unlimited number of players will be able to shape the world and story around them, in real time, with limitless possibilities"
is vaguely peeving. Twats.
