Go Postal A Little Early
Can't wait until May 23 to see Uwe Boll's latest "film" Postal? Well, you're in luck (not to mention dangerously insane), because there's going to be advance screenings in both New York City and Chicago. Well then, I guess you're only in luck if you live in one of those two cities. Or possibly the other way around. Hard to tell.
The NYC preview will be held at 8pm on April 1 (no foolin'!) at the Tribecca Film Center. According to the press release, Running With Scissors CEO Vince Desi and "auteur de farce" Ewe Boll "will both be bringing along their egos for a Q&A following the screening. The kings of multi-media controversy will take unscreened questions from the audience." Well, at least they know who their audience will be. The Chicago screening will follow on April 3 at 7PM at the Lake Street Screening Room.
Oh, and if you want to see the movie, but don't feel like paying for it, they're offering New York fans a chance to win one of five pairs of tickets to the Tribecca screening. Just join the Postal Facebook Fan Page and leave a wall post related to the film before March 28, and you're entered for a chance to win. Sigh. If you can call that winning. I appreciate the marketing, but I'm still not sure I'd enjoy actually watching the movie.
